So, of course- you want to get yourself looking beautiful for your holiday, but what about getting yourself sorted for the holiday itself? You are a busy woman, and a Hen-Party or Holiday requires you to take a well needed break from your work and home-life schedule, but finding time to remember all the important bits to do with a holiday can be tricky- So instead of panicking about what you need to remember, we have done what us gals do best and compiled a list!

Be. Beauty have come up with a cheeky little list of some of the things you need to remember prior to your holiday.

1.  Put important bits Online
No, we don’t mean post all your personal information on Social media. Google drive is a great place to store all your information, such as Passport documents, itineraries, insurance papers and any warranties for your valuables, etc.. The best part of it is, whatever happens, you can access this information anywhere in the world.

2.  Passport Expiry date & Visas
Some countries need you to have a passport, which is at least 6 months outside its expiry date- so double check this before flying anywhere. It is also worth looking up if you need a visa for the country you are going to be visiting. You would be surprised that amount of countries that actually require a visa upon entry. Its better to check now, just incase.

For Visa Search, we like to use- https://www.travisa.com/Visa_Search

3.  Travel Insurance
This should always be sorted before you leave the UK. As we have done our research and it’s loads more expensive once your on your holiday to buy travel insurance. Not to sound like our parents here, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

For Travel Insurance, we like to use- https://www.moneysupermarket.com

4.  Medicine & Toiletries
It’s worth stocking up on any vitamins you want to take or any medicine you might need to keep those post-cocktail headaches at bay. We like to take Berocca to keep us as healthy as possible on holiday. It is also worth thinking about plasters, travel shampoo, tampons, condoms (just in case you get lucky) and anything else you might need on your trip such contact lenses, also if you need to pick up any prescription medication before you leave for your holidays you know the drill girlies. It pays to be prepared.

5. Vaccinations
Check online or with your doctor before you leave on what jabs you might need for your trip, especially if lucky enough to be travelling to Asia or Latin America. Keep your vaccination card safely stored with your travel documents, just in case.

6. Cash/Cards/Travel Cards
Of course you need to make sure you change up some money into the local currency of your holiday destination. This is always handy, as it takes the stress away once you arrive in your destination- plus you get better rates changing money up money before you get to the airport. Be.Beauty find that when travelling abroad Travelex cards are a great cash card option as they avoid these pesky conversion charges. Just be sure to activate your card before you go or if relying on credit cards, make sure you let your bank know which countries you’re going to in advance.

7. Gadgets & Adaptor
Portable speakers for a girls holiday is, of course a absolute must. Also headphones to keep you company on the bus/plane/train/car and a camera are all pretty essential. iPad’s are a great laptop alternative as they’re small and light, just make sure your gadgets are all covered in your insurance policy. Adaptors, well, with your phone charger, hair straighteners, hair dryer and your portable speaker- it’s a “must pack” item. Double check what adapter you need for your destination online.

8. A Pen
Be. Beauty have travelled around the world, and one thing we think is an absolute essential is- a pen! Simple we know, but you never know when you need to fill in a landing card or form, which will not only make yourself but your fellow travel party very thankful for the swift exist through customs. Filling in these forms before landing gets you all to the beach and cocktails much quicker! It’s also great, for taking down any phone numbers... just incase your phone runs out of battery from all the selfies!

10.Comfortable Shoes
Keep those Flip flops, a pair of lightweight trainers – you never know what activities are around the corner, or just incase your feet start hurting from those super fashionable espadrilles wedges!

11. Relax!
You’re off on holiday you beautiful human! Travelling is meant to be fun, so enjoy every minute of it. The prep should be exciting, so really all you need is an open mind and a positive attitude for your holiday. Now roll on the adventure and the cocktails…
